OSSDN Event

ONF AppFest | May 18-22, 2015

The Open Networking Foundation (ONF), founded in 2011, is dedicated to accelerating the worldwide adoption of
Software-Defined Networking (SDN) through open standards, market education, and software.

To ensure that SDN implementations from different sources are interoperable, ONF has conducted 6 Interoperability events where different OpenFlowSDN controllers and switches can be verified to work in a multi-vendor heterogeneous environment, and can be exercised using the different test tools. For 2015, ONF is excited to open the event to include applications, open-source implementations and non-ONF members.

Benefits of AppFest 2015

Participation in AppFest 2015 offers an exceptional opportunity for application, controller, switch and test tool developers and vendors to verify their interoperability with implementations from other vendors. This allows everyone to uncover issues, fine-tune implementations, improve performance and gain confidence in the interoperability of their implementations. In addition, this year’s inclusion of applications, open-source implementations, and non-ONF members multiply AppFest benefits for everyone.
